The definition of a SweatShop is a workplace where people work in that violate the law as well as the workers themselves. They are usually exposed to dangerous work conditions in which they sit in a factory for long hours with horrible pay. There are health and safety hazards that these people have to worry about when working here, but since they are immigrants these sweatshops are their only options of making money in the United States. Sweatshops exist all over the world and its sad to say that even in the United States there are a handful of factories, with the U.S. Department of Labor knowing about it and not doing nothing about it to stop it.
